To conceive, produce and deliver an online commercial specifically aimed at social media for the launch of Renault’s new electric car, the ZOE.
We devised and planned this stunt to ‘build’ a full size Scalextric track around the streets of London. In fact, the entire track was CG, with the cars themselves being filmed for real at an airfield some distance from central London. The end result is a photo-real visual effects stunt providing the perfect link between the car’s performance and it’s electric engine. We’re thrilled Renault let us run with this idea and indulge our fondest childhood memories. VFX is something we enjoy at Scorch Films, and this project provided the ultimate challenge.
